This place is charming, delicious and very friendly. Our family really enjoys visiting “the sweet cookie lady” as my kids call her. One of our kiddos just turned 1 and we did a last-minute cupcake run, which he really appreciated. First time for icing 🎉🤗and they were delicious. Many options from sandwiches to cakes. Today is my F-I-L's day and when my husband told me where he was going to go get his dad something, I said "NOPE! Gotta be Southern Sweets Bakery". I've been here many a times but haven't given it a review and I'm sorry about that but today it seemed appropriate. My father-in-law and I are both diabetic so sweet treats are not something we get to enjoy every day. When we do get to have them, we want better than average, knock your socks off, lick your brains out and kiss your grandma kind of good. Thank you Southern Sweets Bakery for being our go-to spot.

Just tried today. I got some different things. I got a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant that was really good. I also got some desserts. Strawberry shortcake, chocolate pie and thumbprint cookies. We'll let you know on these later when tried. They looked really good though.

This was the second time swinging by. The first time I had my hungry 15 year old son that wanted to try everything. Ice cream, banana pudding, cakes - we had dessert for dinner that night! The other day I walked in for 'a bite' of something. Boy do they deliver! I grabbed a coconut pie complete with fork & napkin. This picture is the best I could do for restraint - it was taken on my car dash before I devoured it! Living in the south you guys will get it. It was refreshing, full flavor without being so sweet it hurts my teeth. That was a huge complement given in my own special way...
